Removing the Tape Drive

1. Disconnect the SCSI cables from the back of the tape drive. The SCSI connectors for the

tape drive are accessible from the back panel.

2. From the back panel, use a #2 Phillips cross recess screwdriver to release the captive screw

that secures the tape drive carrier to the library, as shown in the following figure.
